Being in the kitchen, in my apron is my happy place. And as much as I love being in my kitchen, truth is, I don’t have all day and I know you don’t either. We are all working, busy with, family, kids, a million other things, yet we want to nourish ourselves, make something for the people we love, and we want them to love it. Fortunately for you and for me, in my many years of being in the kitchen I have learned a few things and now I get to share them with you. I will share with you why Giada De Laurentiss picked me to be part of her team on Food Network Star Season 8, why Bobby Flay was always saying “Martita, that is really good, what’d you put in that” and why everyone always comes to my house when they are hungry.  Now let’s cook and let’s eat!
